My name is Naomi Rendina, and I earned my Ph.D. in the history of medicine from Case Western Reserve University in 2020.
My dissertation, Pharmaceuticals and the Nature of American Childbirth, looked at the development of labor inducing drugs alongside the evolution of "natural" childbirth in the US. This work is increasingly relevant, and I'd love to write about it for you!
I have 14 years of experience in higher ed, but I only teach in adjunct rolls at this time. I enjoy teaching remote American History, Women's Studies, and Health Humanities courses.
I live in the mountains not too far outside of Washington, D.C., with my family, our chickens, cattle dogs, and cat.
Thank you for your message. I will get back to you within the next 48 hours!
Naomi
